The First Note
Paul has always been interested in music, and since starting work as a professional musician and private teacher in 2009, Paul has gained over 50 pupils, privately and in schools, as well as being musical director for a number of societies and choirs. Paul is also the East Midlands Representative for the British Trombone Society.
Teach In Harmony
Paul doesn't like to follow a script when it comes to teaching music. Each person is different, and so are their needs. Paul could be teaching a young trombonist their Grade 5 scales for an exam, followed by a pianist who wants to play for pleasure. There is a wide variety and so that variety comes across in his teaching.
The Future Sounds Good
Not everyone who has music lessons will become a professional musician, or sometimes may even never play their instrument again after leaving school. Paul knows this, but also knows that lessons learnt through music can be a valuable source in the future. Playing a musical instrument or singing can be a real boost to self-confidence, listening skills as well as even helping agility and fitness.

About Paul
Paul is a trombone specialist, as well as an accomplished pianist, singer and multi-instrumentalist. With experience of performance in many ensembles from Symphony Orchestra to Jazz Trio and Pop Choir to Choral Society, Paul's musical repertoire is extensive.
